CDB Backs Efforts To Boost Regional Air Travel | RJR News

The Caribbean Growth Financial institution is backing efforts to spice up intra-regional journey after the collapse of LIAT 1974.


Although the financial institution has not commented on talks it’s holding with the Antigua and Barbuda authorities about LIAT 2020, CDB’s appearing President Isaac Solomon advised a press convention in Barbados that air transport was “vital” for the area’s growth.


Over the weekend, Antiguan Prime Minister Gaston Browne introduced that negotiations between CDB and the federal government over the sale of plane had concluded, and that every one governments with shares in LIAT have agreed to promote them to LIAT 2020.


Mr. Solomon stated CDB is keen to supply help in resolving the air transportation limitations affecting the Caribbean.
