Air Canada distances itself from scathing leaked ICAO audit into Canadian air travel safety


Air Canada has distanced itself from a scathing leaked report into the usual of security within the Canadian air journey business.

A confidential audit from the Worldwide Civil Aviation Group obtained by The Canadian Press revealed the nation’s security rating has fallen dramatically to only 64 out of 100, receiving a C grade for flight security and oversight, specifically plane operations, airports and air navigation.

In a press release, Air Canada stated it was “vital to notice it was not an audit of the protected operation of Canadian plane.”
